Free time

I live in a block of flats in a big industrial city Liverpool.

I like my city, my flat but I must tell that the air in the city is not clean. There are many cars in the streets. There are many factories in the city which pollute the environment. So at school we decided to plant some trees and flowers to protect our city from pollution.

One of my favourite activities is hiking. I love hiking. My friend Nick likes it too. He is in a mountain hiking club. Last week he invited me to go hiking with them in the countryside for three or four days. I don't have a sleeping bag, so my friend Mike lent me his. These days were the best days in my life. The weather was nice, fresh air made us feel strong and happy. We cooked meal in the open air. And even mosquitoes didn't spoil the hiking.
