We sometimes see robots in space films. In films robots can walk and talk, but in a real life they are quite different. The real robot doesn't have a body with arms and legs, it doesn't have a brain and it can't think.

The computer programme inside the robot's head gives the instructions to robot what to do.

Robots are very useful in factories where they can do the jobs that people can't. They work very quickly and they never get tired but sometimes they are out of order.
