Present Perfect

1/ Study the rules:

We use the Present Perfect tense when we talk about something that started in the past and continues in the present.

We also use the Present Perfect tense when we talk about experience.

Examples: I have watched the film a few times. I have lived in Kyiv since my childhood.

2/ Listen and read the dialogue.

Zina: Hi, Kostia. Have you seen the school

magazine this month? Kostia: Yes, I have. Zina: Did you like it? Kostia: Yes, it's brilliant. What about you?

Zina: Yes. I love it. It's a good issue. Have you read the horoscope? Kostia: No, I haven't. Who wrote the page? Zina: Tania did it. She has written a lot of things for the magazine. Kostia: Yeah, and they are really good.

3/ Look at the verbs and say the third form.

watch write

drive visit

understand read

stay eat clean drink
open sing dance choose
