15,000 years ago, people lived in caves. They lived in big groups to help each other. Their life was very dangerous. There were many wild animals near the caves - lions, tigers, bears and elephants. The cavepeople hunted. They killed animals and got food.
The children also had to work. They went to the river for water. It was dangerous because the river was deep and there were animals near the river.
In winter it was cold in the cave. Sometimes they went to sleep by the fire. In summer the life in the cave was easier. It wasn't hot in the cave even if the weather was hot. The children went to find fruits and berries to eat.
